Today was another day to travel toward the South and East, all within the state of Nevada. We left the Winnemucca area and drove mostly on "Blue Highways" to Ely. Some of the distance was on US 50, which was designated as "The Loneliest Road in America" by Life Magazine in 1986, for the stretch through Nevada. The picture below shows what most of the scenery looked like as we drove along. And you can see how heavy the traffic was.
